Now that . . . was WINDY!!! In case you missed it, the Gate River Run 15K was held this past weekend in Jacksonville and someone left the fan on! Head winds and tail winds were not such a big deal, but the cross-wind wreaked havoc on both bridges, as well as a short stretch along the river where the pure, pristine waters of the St. Johns River were whipped into a frenzy and dropped rather rudely upon us!!
That being said — WHAT FUN! The finish was in the stadium where the Jaguars play, and where a large contingent of Ancient City Road Runners high stepped on the Jumbotron!
