what got talked about? well, we have the Summer Social July 31st at the pier, Ragnar Relay in the fall, a need for someone to manage the newsletter and new ACRR merchandise will be available very soon!

…and on a hot a humid Memorial Day morning the Mickler Mile was run…

Thanks to everyone who came out and sprinted, to those who volunteered for the race and especially to Jay and Shelby for organizing the race!

Congratulations Abby and Trip for winning the women’s and men’s race respectively. Everyone else’s results may be found right here!

the fastest mile in St. Augustine, the Mickler Mile, will be held on monday, may 31st on the north end of mickler blvd at 7.30 in the morning. and this year the course is USATF certified!

April 9th and 10th support Renee and Jim Wauldron – spread the word about Don’s Friends 5k Run/Walk

the 2nd annual flagler 5k in anastasia state park went off without a hitch. the event was put on by the flagler college women’s cross country team and grew from just over 100 runners last year to nearing 150 this year.

This year’s Gate River Run was another huge success. The weather was good and the ACRR tent with its beer, porta potties and food was enjoyed by all.

Thanks to Shelby, George, Fred and others for maintaining the tent area and Todd for bouncing at the gate.

Gate River Run — 2010

Entry fees are: $10 for Flagler College students and staff; $15 for ACRR members; and $20 for all others until April 2. For those entering on the day of the race, the cost will be $25. You can also register on-line at www.active.com for $20.

On April 2, you can pick-up your Flagler 5K package in front of Flagler Gym on Granada Street from 3-6:30 p.m. You can also get the package on the day of the racefrom 6:30-7:30 a.m.

Proceeds of the Flagler 5K will benefit the Flagler women’s cross country team with a portion being donated to the Betty Griffin House for Abused Women.
